LOCATION
Threshold Ministry is located in the Sycamore House in downtown Decatur, one block south of Ponce de Leon Avenue, at the intersection of Church and Sycamore Streets and directly across Sycamore Street from the Decatur Presbyterian Church sanctuary. Sycamore House is located across the Church Street from the Decatur MARTA Station and Decatur Square.
PARKING
Limited parking is available in the Sycamore House parking lot. This lot is used by Threshold Ministry volunteers and Global Village School teachers. Parking spaces are also available on Sycamore Street, but these spaces are metered and the City of Decatur charges a fee for parking in them. The main church parking lot is available for free parking, but parking spaces in that lot are limited during the week as this lot is also used by other groups.
MARTA
Sycamore House is located across Church Street from the Decatur MARTA station. Guests who use MARTA for travel to the Sycamore House will not normally need to find a place to park.
ACCESSIBILITY
Limited handicap parking spaces are available during the week on the alley next to the sanctuary; there are also limited handicap parking spaces available in the Sycamore House parking lot, adjacent to the Sycamore House (the entrance is located on Sycamore Street); several more handicap spaces are located in the main Church Street lot near the portico entrance.
Sycamore House is also wheelchair accessible from the rear door located just off the parking lot.
