Compassionate Support in Christian Community with People in Need

ARP Assistance

DeKalb County has approved a $100,000 grant from District 6 ARP appropriations to the Threshold Ministry at Decatur Presbyterian Church to provide financial assistance to those who are limited by physical or mental disability and who are able to prove a need for assistance for housing, utilities, transportation, communication, or related expenses because of COVID-19.

This ARP funding will assist the Threshold Ministry to distribute financial assistance to applicants who are limited by physical or mental disability and who are able to demonstrate financial hardship as well as efforts to tap into community resources already in place. Applications are now being accepted and will be reviewed by a team composed of the Threshold Coordinator, a member of the Threshold Ministry Steering Team, one of the pastors of Decatur Presbyterian Church, and an elder of the congregation.
