Threshold Ministry has developed partnerships with several area organizations to increase the services that are available to those in need in the community. Threshold Ministry has developed partnerships with several area organizations to increase the services that are available to those in need in the community. Listed below are the names of these Ministry Partners:

A Home for Everyone– We are dedicated to ending homelessness by providing financial assistance and supportive services for housing, collaboratively coordinating cold weather centers, and more. Our vision is for there to be safe, affordable, and stable housing that is easily attainable for everyone in DeKalb County.

Atlanta Legal Aid – Atlanta Legal Aid Society profices free civil legal aid for low-income individuals and families in the Atlanta metro area. Legal Aid lawyers are available on Wednesdays to meet with Threshold Ministry guests by appointment only.

DEAM Decatur – DEAM Decatur offers food and  emergency financial assistance to its neighbors and to direct them to community organizations who are equipped to provide long-term solutions to ease their financial stress.

Decatur Cooperative Ministry – Decatur Cooperative Ministry helps families facing homelessness settle into safe, stable homes and build healthy lives filled with peace, hope and opportunity.

DeKalb County Outreach – specialists will be present on the 4th Thursday of each month (10:00-11:30 am) on a first come, first serve basis.

First Baptist Church of Decatur – First Baptist Church of Decatur is a vibrant, progressive, welcoming and affirming community of faith located in the heart of Decatur, GA. It’s our hope that your story intersects with our story at First Baptist Decatur, and that with God’s help, we might write something new and meaningful together!

First Step Staffing – First Step staffing specialists provide worksite transportation, background checks, protective equipment, and advanced training to ensure a diverse and appropriately-skilled workforce.

Frontline Response – Frontline Response provides assistance every day to rescue individuals out of the darkness of sex trafficking and homelessness while preventing children and other vulnerable individuals from falling victim.

MARTA – MARTA operates a public transit system in the greater Atlanta area to provide transportation services, boost economic development, and enhance the lives of people across the Metro Area.

VA Outreach Specialists – Veterans outreach specialists work with veterans of all branches of military service to connect them to the benefits they’ve earned while serving in the military.
